BarBud comes equipped with a conversational AI assistant designed to give you quick, actionable answers without leaving your current screen. It understands your menu, your sales history, and who is on shift.

1. Accessing the Assistant

You can summon the Assistant from anywhere in the app.

  1. Look for the floating Chatbot icon in the bottom right corner of the dashboard.
  2. Click or tap to open the chat interface.
  3. Type your question naturally.

2. What You Can Ask

The Assistant is integrated deeply with your BarBud data.

  • Inventory: "What's my current stock of Maker's Mark?" or "Show me all low stock items in the Beer category."
  • Sales & Trends: "What are my top selling items today?" or "How much revenue did we generate last Friday?"
  • Tabs: "Are there any open tabs over $100?" or "Who left a tab open from last night?"
  • Staff: "Which bartender sold the most this week?"

3. Real-Time Data

Unlike static reports, the Assistant queries your live data. If a bartender closes a tab, the Assistant's next answer will reflect that change instantly.

Pro Tip

You can ask follow-up questions. For instance, "What were the top 5 cocktails yesterday?" and then "How much revenue did they account for?"
